About
Birds & Bees Teas Mission
Our mission is to encourage the health and well-being of mamas and their families by offering 100% natural, organic and delicious herbal infusions. We strive to only use the best possible ingredients and share current information on safe, gentle and effective herbal tea use during pregnancy. Birds & Bees wants to share our love of loose leaf blends by encouraging mamas to create a daily self-care habit of sipping slowly. We believe that it’s important to support birth professionals, advocate for evidence based care and give back to the community through organizations that champion quality maternal health care for all.
Birds & Bees Teas Story
Birds & Bees started with an idea that was created by three friends. As herbalists and professionals in the birth community they saw a need for a variety of loose leaf herbal teas that focused on the needs of new moms. Clients and friends had shared that they got bored drinking the same tea all throughout pregnancy and felt confused as to what herbal teas were safe to drink while expecting and breastfeeding. Birds & Bees’ foremothers chatted while taste testing blends and dreamed up a line that offered multiple safe and effective therapeutic infusions that were both yummy and also looked pretty on the kitchen countertop. After much thought, love and research went into formulating, the dream of Birds & Bees began to blossom. Jen Roth, one of the three friends, dedicated herself to making this line of teas a reality and brought the company to fruition. So now whether you need a calming cup of tea to sip before bed or an immune boost when the little ones’ noses are runny, Birds and Bees has the perfect blend to nurture and nourish you while nesting!
