‘Twas the Night Before Christmas (Birds and Bees Teas Style) ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas (Birds and Bees Teas Style)

‘Twas the night before Christmas in the blending room,
The sun had gone down and in shone the moon;
The packages were sent to Mamas with care,
To help nourish the babies that soon would be there.

The Mommies were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of motherhood danced through their heads;
And baby in her swaddle, and toddler in his jammies;
Had just settled down with a story from their Grammies;
That night in the living room we finally sat;
Laughed with family and had a nice chat.

Down in the kitchen I grabbed the kettle,
Tore open the bag to brew Peaceful Pregnancy with nettle.
The tea drank in the house all covered in snow;
Gave a bit of solace to the family who were tired- you know?

When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But Santa of course, and his 8 reindeer.
With a little old driver who wanted some tea;
He was getting sick and needed Family Immunity!
More rapid than eagles the tea quickly brewed,
and he whistled and shouted “This is good, dude!”

“Come Dasher, come Dancer, come Prancer, come Vixen;
Come Comet, come Cupid, come Donner, come Blitzen!
To the kitchen for tea! Easy Naps and Calm Nights!
Help Mamas with bedtime without any fights!”

As a laboring mom’s contractions really kicked up,
Santa grabbed Ripe and Ready and poured her a cup.
So up to her housetop the tea crew all flew;
With a sleighful of toys for the new baby too.

And then, in a twinkling I heard on the roof;
They had come back for more tea- it helps, they’d seen proof!
As I brewed up more tea, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.
He needed Grounded, for a family;
Who were nourishing their bodies preparing for baby.

A bundle of tea bags he had flung on his back,
As he learned about brewing, adding infusors to his pack.
His eyes how they twinkled- as he learned about tea!
He grabbed Our Lady of La Leche to help with milk for baby!
His droll little mouth had such a big grin,
As he discovered Milk Be Gone for when weaning would begin.

A piece of ginger he held tight in his teeth,
And as he chewed it he knew it helped his tummy beneath.
He needed Inner Peace for a sore belly,
That shook when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
For a heartburn problem, he took Lighthearted off the shelf.
A wink of his eye he said “this tea is great,
I will share it with mothers- I won’t make them wait!”
He took all the tins, and went straight to his work;
Filled up his gift bag; then turned with a jerk,
And taking a deep breath of tea made with love,
He went up the chimney to the roof up above.

He sprang to his sleigh; his team he refilled,
Thankful for herbs to keep up the goodwill.
I heard him exclaim as he flew out of sight:
“Merry Christmas to all- enjoy Birds & Bees Teas tonight!”
